Transfer Coffee Meets Morning Call: New Topics and Dates 2026

The InNoWest digitalisation team and the Prignitz University Office (Wittenberge location) are continuing their joint online format. The cooperation aims to promote dialogue between universities and stakeholders in the northwest Brandenburg region (companies, institutions, administration and civil society) and encourage learning from one another.

The online format impresses with its input from experts, the opportunity to talk to them and its focus on digitalisation topics.

The event takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 8.30 am to 9.30 am. The event starts with an expert input (approx. 30 minutes) and is followed by a questions and discussion session.

Start Smart & Smart City Academy – Knowledge and training for all local authorities and regions

Guest: Simone Sch?ttmer, Head of Start Smart and Smart City Academy from the Smart Cities Model Projects funding programme

Shaping digital transformation in the interests of public welfare-oriented urban development is a task for all local authorities in Germany. How can this be achieved? Simone Sch?ttmer will be our guest on Morning Call in February and is prepared to support local authorities in developing the skills needed for the process. With practical training, in-depth expertise and directly applicable skills, the Smart City Academy qualifies local authority employees for sustainable, future-proof urban development. In this Morning Call, local authorities will find out what specific services are available and what the consulting, exchange and networking formats look like.

Become a practice partner in dual study programmes and attract young talents

Franziska Kuhl from the Duales Studium agency will give an insight into dual study programmes at Brandenburg universities during the Morning Call and explain how companies can become practical partners in this study format. Dual study programmes benefit not only students, but also companies, which can secure young talent at an early stage and gradually build up their own workforce while benefiting from the latest scientific findings. Aniko Herms-Neumann from BBZ Berufsbildungszentrum Prignitz GmbH will use the example of the training-integrated dual study programme in business administration at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences to explain the process, costs and added value for companies as practical partners in dual study programmes. This format cleverly combines vocational training and a bachelor's degree. Find out how you can become a practical partner and successfully implement dual study programmes in your company.
